1. Bookings
To reserve flights and gorilla permits we need: your full names as they appear in passport, your nationality and passport number. The terms and conditions below shall apply to the tour booking concluded between Caxly Safaris and the undersigned client in respect to the tour, as more fully described in the tour itinerary provided to the client on confirmation of the booking.
All information detailed in client itineraries is given to the best of Caxly Safaris’ knowledge and based on the latest information available. We cannot be liable for modified information from third parties Before confirming a safari, the client must inform Caxly Safaris of any preferences and special requests of the participants; e.g. medical needs, diet requirements and any other requirements. We will meet the requests if possible.
All packages are subject to availability and not guaranteed until confirmed. Many lodges and hotels offered by Caxly Safaris have limited capacity and therefore it isessential to make reservations well in advance of your planned trip. In the event that you wish to amend your reservation in anyway,
Caxly Safaris will make the preferred adjustment where practicable and possible and confirm
accordingly. Caxly Safaris reserves the right to charge an amendment fee relative to the actual costs, which will be added to the total invoice. Caxly Safaris reserves the right to change and readjust the tour schedule, transportation, accommodation and services indicated in the itinerary in the event
of unforeseen circumstances before arrival. Any changes to the itinerary will be communicated to the client as soon as possible.
2. Prices
The prices quoted for the various safaris are as per the itinerary and include the
following services, unless stated otherwise: overnight in hotels, guesthouses, tents
or lodges, all meals as indicated, sightseeing as detailed in the itinerary, park
entrance fees and ranger fees, airport transfers where applicable, ground
transportation, English speaking driver/guides and bottled mineral water in the
vehicle.
Expenses that are not covered: international and domestic air fares, visa and
passports, meals not mentioned in the itinerary, drinks other than the mineral
water provided in the vehicle, tips and gratuities for the guides and
accommodation staff, laundry, travel insurance and other items of a personal
nature.

3. Payment
We will ask you for a 40% down payment in connection with making booking
(especially with securing Gorilla permits/Chimpanzee permits). At the latest, one
month prior to the start of the safari, full payment should be made (unless other
terms have been agreed). However, bookings made within one month of

4. Means of payment
Payments can be done through bank transfer to our accounts in Uganda and via
credit card payments through a 3D secure payment gateway embedded in our
website or a shareable payment link. Fees for transfer are paid by the client. We
accept payment in cash and cheques for non-international travelers paid directly
to our office.
Caxly Safaris reserves the right to adjust prices at any time should there be any

5. Execution of safari
It is a privilege to see animals in their natural habitat and as such, we cannot
guarantee wildlife or game viewing. You must take caution when viewing the
animals and carefully follow the instructions given by either the tour guide or
wildlife rangers.
A gorilla or chimpanzee permit guarantees clients will be able to track the
primates in question but does not guarantee that the animals will be in plain sight.
Accommodation is based on a twin or double bedded room, tent or banda with a
private bathroom where possible. Single rooms maybe available with the payment
of a supplement fee but availability cannot always be guaranteed.

6. Vehicles
We always make sure we offer our clients cars that are in a road worthy condition.
Despite this, punctures, breakdowns, damage or any other delay can occur due to
poor road conditions that are out of our control.
7. Insurance
It is the client’s responsibility to make sure that they have sufficient coverage with
travel insurance.
8. Health
It is the responsibility of the client to insure that proper medical precautions
(immunizations and so on) have been taken.
Caxly Safaris reserves the right to refuse any client behaving in a way that can
9. Trip Cancellations
When a client cancels a tour that requires a gorilla/chimpanzee trekking permit,
the permit price is non-refundable and will be forfeited.
Cancellation of a scheduled tour booking must be made in writing and is not

Loss of the deposit is applicable to tours cancelled more than 60 Days before Date
of Departure (excluding the non-refundable gorilla trekking permit)
Should a Client cancel a booking 60 days or less prior to the date of departure of
the tour for any reason (except due to death or hospitalization), the client shall be
liable to pay a cancellation penalty. The cancellation penalty is calculated by
having regard to the nature of the booking, length of notice of cancellation and
reasonable potential to find alternative customers. Having regard to the
aforementioned factors, the following percentages may be forfeited by the
customer in respect of the arranged tour price due to a no-show based on the
number of days between receipt of the cancellation notice and the date of the
departure:

All cancellations need to be made in writing and confirmed by the Reservations
team by email. The above mentioned cancellation fees are applicable to any prebooked
or pre-paid activity packages which will also be charged if a tour is
cancelled.

The Company reserves the right at any time and for any reason, to cancel the tour
on notice to the client. In such event, the Company shall refund the tour price to
the client. It is recorded that refund of the tour price as aforesaid shall be the
Company’s sole responsibility to the client, and no claim for any damages,
howsoever arising, shall accrue against the Company by reason of a cancellation of
the tour.
Note: Gorilla permits and flight tickets are excluded from percentages above and
are 100% non-refundable.
10. Complaints
Any issues that occur during the safari should be reported immediately to the
guide and we'll do our best to resolve it. If an issue has not been solved to the
client's satisfaction, a written complaint should be e-mailed to us no later than 30
days after finishing the safari to enable us investigate and act on the complaint.
11. Liability

war/threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist attacks, border closure, acts of the
government, strikes, thefts, epidemics, road closure, natural disasters, extreme
weather conditions, fire, technical/mechanical problems to transport due to bad
